Metal Art

In der letzten Zeit habe ich mich mal wieder etwas intensiver mit Metall Art auseinander gesetzt und dachte, das wäre doch mal ein Thema für TMTA.

Metal Art ist alles was sich mit Metall-/Prägefolien, Blechen und Metallen aller Art zu tun hat. In dieser Woche sollte also irgendwo auf deinem ATC etwas metallartiges zu entdecken sein. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle, ob es als Highlight genutzt wird, oder das ATC komplett aus Metall besteht. Wir sind gespannt und freuen uns auf eure Ideen!

Recently I’ve been keeping myself occupied more intensively with metal art again, and I thought this would make a great theme for TMTA.

Metal Art involves metal foils or embossed folis, sheet metal and metals of all kinds. This means there should be something metalloid somewhere on your ATC this week. It doesn’t matter if it’s used as a highlight only or if your whole ATC is made of metal. We are curious, and look forward to see your ideas!

Wie Claudia schon so schön schrieb, Zahlen begleiten uns durch das Leben und begegnen uns überall. Eure Kombinationen mit Zahlen haben uns sehr gefallen. Es ist einfach toll zu sehen wie viele Gestaltungs- und Umsetzungsmöglichkeiten es gibt und wie jeder einzelne von euch diese darstellt. Es hat wieder viel Spaß gemacht eure Werke zu bestaunen. As Claudia appropriately wrote, numbers accompany us throughout our whole life and we stumble across them everywhere. We really liked your combinations with numbers. It’s great to see how many ways of composition and realisation there are and how it is interpreted by everyone. We had a nice time again admiring your art. Great to have you participating

Zahlen – Numbers

Zahlen begegnen uns jeden Tag, auf Autokennzeichen, Rechnungen, Briefen. Meistens achten wir gar nicht richtig darauf. Diese Woche aber schon Integriert wenigstens eine Zahl auf eurem ATC. Ob groß oder klein bleibt dabei eurer Phantasie überlassen.

Every day we stumble across numbers, on licence plates, bills, letters. Most of the time we don’t pay attention to it. This week we will Integrate at least one number on your ATC. Whether large or small is all up to your phantasy.

Sampler of the week – Lovers

Liebespaare – eines der bekanntesten ist wohl Susi und Strolch. An dieses Paar habe ich allerdings erst gedacht, als ich die vielen verschiedene Paare gesehen habe, die ihr uns gezeigt habt. Mir wäre ohne euch gar nicht der Gedanke gekommen etwas anderes als ein Mann und eine Frau engumschlungen, tanzend, küssend usw. auf meinem ATC zu gestalten.

Danke für die Inspiration und die zahlreiche Teilnahme.

Lovers – Lady and the Tramp are probably among the most famous. However, I only came to think of this couple when I saw all the different couples you showed us. Without you I wouldn’t have thought of creating an ATC with anything else than a man and a woman embracing each other, dancing, kissing, etc.
