Stein – Stone

Diese Woche möchten wir von euch ATCs sehen, auf denen sich Dinge aus Stein befinden, z.B. Steinengel oder Denkmäler, Statuen, Gebäude, oder vielleicht fällt euch auch etwas ganz anderes ein. Wir sind schon sehr gespannt, was ihr mit diesem Thema verbindet.

This week we’re asking you for ATCs displaying things that are made of stone, for instance stone angels or monuments, statues, buildings, or anything else you fancy. We can’t wait to see what you associate with this theme.

Sampler of the Week – Tickets

Vielen Dank für eure zahlreiche Beteiligung!! Es hat wieder richtig Spaß gemacht, sich die tollen Interpretationen des Themas und die vielen unterschiedlichen Tickets anzuschauen.

Thank you very much for the high number of participants!! We really enjoyed seeing the many different interpretations of the theme and all the different tickets.

Tickets

Fahrkarten, Kino- oder Konzertkarten – Tickets bekommt man überall. Diese Woche fordere ich euch nun heraus ein ATC zu gestalten mit einem Ticket. Ich freue mich auf eure ATCs und bin gespannt was ihr so werkelt.

Bus or train tickets, tickets for the movies or a concert – there are tickets everywhere. This week I challenge you to create an ATC with a ticket. I look forward to seeing your ATCs and I’m curious as to what you’ll come up with.

Hände – Hands

Beim Durchstöbern meiner Stempel bin ich auf meine Motive mit Händen gestoßen und dachte das wäre ein tolles Thema für TMTA. Also zeigt uns diese Woche eure Kreationen und Ideen mit Händen – wir sind sehr gespannt. Hände sind, wie ich finde, immer wieder ein tolles und ausagekräftiges Motiv – Viel Spaß!!

While rummaging through my stamps I found my motives on hands and thought it would make a great thema for TMTA. So show us your creations and ideas on hands this week – we look forward seeing them. In my opinion, hands always are a fantastic and compelling motive – Enjoy!!

Rund – Round

Die EURO 2008 hat begonnen, in vielen Teilen Europas spielt der runde Ball jetzt die Hauptrolle, und wir wollen auch „rund spielen“. Baut etwas Rundes in euer ATC ein. Alles ist möglich, so lange es rund ist.

The European Football Championship 2008 has started, the round ball takes up centre stage now in many parts of Europe and we also want to „play round“. Incorporate something round on your ATC. Anything is possible, as long as it’s round.

Sampler of the week – Towers + Columns

Der Eiffelturm scheint einer der beliebtesten Türme zu sein So konnten wir neben einigen anderen Türmen und Säulen viele Kombinationen mit dem Eiffelturm sehen. Wir danken euch für die rege Teilnahme!

The Eiffel Tower seems to be one of the most favourite towers Next to some other towers and columns, we therefore saw a lot of combinations featuring the Eiffel Tower. Thank you very much for your active participation!

Türme + Säulen – Towers + Columns

Viele Städte haben Türme und Säulen als Sehenswürdigkeit. In Berlin haben wir gleich mehrere davon, den Funkturm, den Fernsehturm und die Siegessäule. Paris bietet uns den Eiffelturm an, Pisa den schiefen Turm. So könnte man die Liste fortführen. Also fordere ich euch diese Woche heraus, euren Lieblingsturm zu zeigen und bin gespannt welche Kreationen und Türme uns durch die Woche begleiten

A lot of cities feature towers and columns as places of interest. In Berlin, for instance, we have several of them, the radio tower, the television tower, the victory column. Paris has the Eiffel Tower and Pisa the Leaning Tower. There’s no end to this list. I therefore challenge you this week to show us your favourite tower and I look forward to see which creations and towers we’ll get to see this week

Sampler of the week – Diptych

Ich bin die Woche gar nicht dazu gekommen mir die vielen Beiträge anzuschauen. Umso mehr habe ich es genossen beim Erstellen des Samplers eure Werke zu betrachten. Es ist fantastisch zu sehen, wie ihr die Herausforderungen angeht und welche Kunstwerke entstehen – Danke!

This week I didn’t have the time to look at the many contributions. I enjoyed it all the more when I compiled the sampler. It is great to see how you deal with the challenge and to see all these works of art being posted – Thanks!
