Ägypten – Egypt

Das Wetter bei uns ist durchwachsen und ich sehne mich nach der Sonne. Da ist es naheliegend, dass ich Euch in wärmere Gefilde entführe, nach Ägypten. Auf Ägypten bin ich nicht nur durch den Wunsch nach Sonne und wärmeren Temperaturen gekommen, sondern auch, weil es ein Thema in der nächsten Just Stamps – einfach stempeln sein wird. Gestaltet ein ATC und zeigt uns Eure Blick nach Ägypten.

The weather here is rather mediocre and I am craving for the sun. So it seems natural that I take you to a warmer place: to Egypt. Egypt did not only come to my mind because of the wish for sun and warmer temperatures, but also because it will be a topic in the next issue of Just Stamps – einfach stempeln. Make an ATC and show us your take on Egypt.

Bei Indien denke ich an Farbenpracht, leckere Gerichte, Bollywood, aber auch an Hinduismus und Gebäude wie das Taj Mahal. Was verbindet ihr damit?

India – this makes me think of a blaze of colours, dainty dishes, Bollywood, but also of hinduism and of buildings like the Taj Mahal. What are your thoughts?

Schmuck – Jewels/Jewellery

Schon wieder Montag und ich darf ein neues Thema wählen.
Dieses Mal habe ich mich für Schmuckstücke entschieden. Alles was im weitesten Sinne damit verbunden ist, also zum Beispiel Kronen, Diademe, Ketten und Ohringe. Aber für manche sind auch Lebewesen wahre Schmuckstücke und deshalb habe ich in meinem Beispiel zwei Schmuckstücke miteinander verbunden, zum einen mein Lieblingstier und zum anderen ein altes Strasselement, das noch aus Omas Schatulle stammt.

It is already Monday again, and it’s my turn to pick a theme.
This time I went for jewels/jewellery – anything related to it in the broadest sense, for instance crowns, tiaras, necklaces and earrings. However, some people also consider living creatures to be true jewels. I therefore combined two jewels in my sample: my favourite animal and an old rhinestone element from my grandmother’s casket.

Pfau – Peacock

Ich bin im Moment sehr angetan von den Stempelmotiven von Elusive Images. Besonders ins Herz geschlossen habe ich die Peacock Ladies. So möchte ich diese Woche Eure Kreationen mit Pfauen und/oder Pfauenfedern sehen und warte voller Spannung auf Eure Beiträge.

I am presently in love with the images of Elusive Images. I am particularly fond of the Peacock Ladies. So I would like to see your creations with peacocks and/or peacock feathers this week, an I am curious to see your entries.
